History

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality is an agency under the supervision of Mahasarakham University. By drafting the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program in Tourism and Hospitality (4-year program) in 2000-2001 under the name "The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Establishment Project", the first batch of students were accepted into the special system and the special system by equivalency in June 2001.

Academic Year 2001

- There were 185 first batch students.

- There were 11 lecturers and teaching support staff.

- Mr. Thanet Srisathit was the initiator of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Establishment Project and was appointed as the acting dean. Later, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Establishment Project was approved by the Mahasarakham University Council, approving the establishment. "Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management" (Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management) According to the resolution of the University Council meeting No. 10/2547 on October 29, 2547 and approval to use the regulations of Mahasarakham University on the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management B.E. 2547 on November 10, 2547, there was an order appointing Mr. Thanet Srisathit to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management.

Academic Year 2547

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management has operated to teach according to the Bachelor of Arts Program B.E. 2544 in Tourism and Hotel Management (4-year program).

- There are 1,096 students in total.

- There are 16 lecturers and 14 teaching support staff.

- There are 116 graduates who have completed their studies and received their degrees as the first batch of graduates (Chaba Cho 1).

Academic Year 2549

Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management The new curriculum has been drafted, namely:

Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management (International Curriculum / New Curriculum 2006) and has been approved by the Mahasarakham University Council to approve the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management (International Curriculum / New Curriculum 2006) on June 29, 2006. The Faculty has opened undergraduate programs (International Curriculum) in the academic year 2007 with 13 students in the first batch.

And in 2006, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management has drafted a graduate curriculum, namely the Master of Arts (MA) in Tourism and Hotel Management (New Curriculum 2007) 2007 (MA) has been approved by the Mahasarakham University Council to approve the Master of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management. (Revised Curriculum 2007) on June 29, 2006

2006-2007

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management has developed the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management in 2001 and has received approval from the Council of Mahasarakham University to approve the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management (Revised Curriculum 2007) on March 30, 2007

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management has drafted 1 graduate program, namely:

Doctor of Philosophy Program (Ph.D.) in Tourism and Hotel Management (New curriculum, B.E. 2550) The Council of Mahasarakham University acknowledged and approved this curriculum on May 25, 2550. The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management has started offering graduate studies in the academic year 2550, with 25 graduate students in the first batch.

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management offers two undergraduate programs:

- Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management (Revised curriculum, B.E. 2550)

- Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management (International curriculum/New curriculum, B.E. 2549)

2 graduate programs:

- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Tourism and Hotel Management (New curriculum, B.E. 2550)

- Master of Arts (M.A.) in Tourism and Hotel Management (New curriculum, B.E. 2549)

There are a total of 2,215 students, divided into 2,158 undergraduate students and 57 graduate students.
